The release of Spider-Man this weekend was a dream come true. Live experiences like these don't happen enough. It took some time to finally supervise on a Marvel film but it was a thrill. I can't thank Alex Cannon enough for the shot to join his team and for Jerome Chen and Richard Baker as their leadership guided all their crews to the finish line. It was the most complex and ambitious project I've helped supervise. Our visualization team always strived to exceed their best and I was glad to see all those amazing people listed in the credits. They were so professional; bringing inspiring levels of talent and precision to their craft and making every day a joy. It was an honor to work with them. The film's wild success will now forever be a part of their lives. Congrats to everyone on the SPI, DD and Framestore teams as well.
Being in Washington state, it's always hard to miss the official cast & crew screenings in LA and not see the crews one last time--especially for this one. However, I was grateful for the family and friends who came out up here, and for those who would have, had they been able. The film is an easy recommendation; I hope everyone sees it. Thank you to everyone on the Spider-Man Torchlight team, I'll always remember our time together and hope to work with you again soon. Read the project page here.
